We bring the athletes.
You bring the community.
Together, we put on one heck of a show.

Heartland Rodeo
Why Host A
A Built in Crowd
HRA competitors travel from across the province to participate. Your rodeo comes with an audience of athletes, families, and fans.
A Full Weekend of Entertainment
Barrel racing, team roping, bronc riding and more. Real rodeo. Real action.
A Proven Framework
We've been doing this since 1995. You don't have to figure it out alone — we've got the rulebook, the contacts, and the checklist.
Financial Upside for Your Organization
Gate sales, canteen revenue, and sponsorships all stay with your committee. We help you maximize attendance so your weekend is as successful as possible.

-
A water truck for dust control
-
Water access for both rodeo stock and competitors
-
An announcer/timer stand with shade and power (electrical or generator)
03

02
Safety First
-
A paramedic or nurse with ER training on site (we can connect you with experienced providers)
-
A vet on call for large animals, with tarp, ropes, and board on hand
-
Liability insurance (Ag society, RM/town, or private)
04
Promotion
We recommend radio, posters, Facebook, and of course your event listed right here on the HRA website.

One Rodeo Per Weekend
Garunteed.
HRA's rules allow only one approved rodeo per weekend. That means your event gets maximum competitor entries and maximum attendance. Your weekend is protected.

Rodeo
Who Hosts A Heartland
Our host committees come from all walks of rural life:
-
Agricultural societies and fair boards
-
Minor sports associations and 4-H clubs
-
Community halls and recreation committees
-
Rodeo clubs and riding associations
-
RM councils and town event committees
If your community has an arena and a crew of volunteers who aren't afraid of a little hard work — you've got what it takes.
